Payton's independence reiterated....

This morning while I was packing a lunch for Payton, she brought the note to me that I put in her lunchbox on her first day...just a simple note that said "We Love You!  love Mom, Dad and Chase"....She politely asked me with a considerate and gentle tone to "Please never do this again. I was the only kid in the whole first grade who got one!"  (a note from her mom in her lunch, how totally embarrassing...)  ok, so now I might be just a little sad...
